"Strip away the facades and personas that you have had to don over the last near
50 years, and what are you left with?
You can never get back to Tabula Rasa,
the scratches run deap on the slate, chipped, weathered and worn.
What would
you learn? How would you learn? Would you feel? Who would you be?"

"You have the pure essence of you. You are the light and you are free. WHO ARE YOU? You learn by feeling the moment. Eyes closed. Slowly breathe in. Slowly breathe out. Breath in. Breath out. Tilt your head down. With your mind's eye, look into your heart. What do you feel? What do you see? Breathe in. Breath out. Breathe in. Breathe out. Spend time in this light for 15 minutes. When the time is up, open your eyes and write down what you saw and experienced."

Do you live in San Francisco, California? In the San Francisco Bay Area? Are you from somewhere other than this beautiful City by the Bay? Do you "exist" with a somewhat suppressed and/or untapped identity in the vortex of the natives? If the answer is "YES" or "MAYBE" to all of these questions, then we may want to hear how you are thriving and strengthening your soul amidst it all.

#87 Evict or Convict
I recently had lunch with another transplant . She is from Ohio and is wise, beautiful and very intuitive.
This is something she continues to say......
"When you change, you change the energy of the environment. People will either be convicted to you and the change or they will evict themselves from the energy."
Hmmmmm.......

#86 Let The Moments Unfold
Shannon says...
"There are always opportunities to start fresh.
These days I try and guard against trying to take on too much at once as has been my previous practice. Life happens when you are making plans and sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in the minutia of the day. We create our own time suck and all the hurdles that accompany it. The simple things that surround us are moments for pleasure that are often marginalized or missed while we are busy. So while I have plans, BIG plans and BIG changes of what I would like to do, or who I want to become, I plan to step back and let things unfold. No more attempts at force fitting the things that don't work anymore. No more trying too hard and accepting less than I should. I plan to keep the positive thoughts flowing, reach out to those that strike a chord, live life simply and focus on gratitude. At the end of the day we live with our memories so make sure you don't miss anything."
#85 Let Them Go With Love
Words from Shannon.....
"I agree that it is difficult to watch the actions of others submerged in "groupthink" that celebrates negativity in it's various forms. Difficult because once we may have shared a form of closeness with some or all of these people but as growth from personal circumstances took place, it is as if they are clothes you love but no longer fit. It can be challenging to let go because although YOU no longer feel the same you are attached to what once was and the positive associations that came from that time. It may seem that you are outnumbered because so many are on the same page. Listen to your intuition. It takes a great deal of courage to not get sucked into the disease but you are far healthier for stepping outside the narrow circle. Let them go with go with love. Remember they are comfortable where they stand and that's okay. Celebrate who you are and the positive changes in your life and seek out those that share and support your values and move on to create your own circle of goodwill.
You are special. Anyone that makes you feel less than that needs to go.
Take a listen to this song. (Lovely by Sara Haze) It should be the anthem for every girl."

#84 - The Detox
I had a visitor today.... a friend and a pal from work.
He looked into my eyes and told me the truth.
He described a person I had become.
My aura had been dark for awhile, he said.
(Oooo...not the bright light I aspire to be.)
Kinda felt like an intervention.
It confirmed my self assessment and notes of discovery.
It confirmed that I was correct in making the decision to change.
It confirmed that I was moving in the right direction.

I am detoxing my energy fields.
I am reclaiming my positivity.
I am redesigning my purpose.
I placed a feng shui water candle on the northernmost corner of my desk.
My FB page has a picture of water...the ocean....with no rocks or mountains. This symbolizes smooth successes without obstacles or obstruction.
I cleaned out the clutter at work and at home....still plowing through stuff.
I bought a plant for my office...to resynergize the chi.
I fed my soul with Joel Osteen and the Word this morning....as I do every morning.
"Those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed." Isaiah 40:31
It'll take some time ... but I am on my way.
I am enjoying the game....just looooove running down the field with the pigskin in my arms!
I am out of the locker room and on the field !
This feels good.
This feels right.
This feel different.
I have always been the cheerleader. Not anymore!
This is MY time now!
This is my time to play in the game!
I am reclaiming my light!
I am redesigning and repurposing the second half of my life!
This is MY field!
And I have an appointment with my life coach tomorrow.
Yay ME!

#83 - A Fresh Start
"Hello!
My name is _______________.
Nice to meet you."
That is usually how it starts.
But why bother, at this point? We know too much. We've seen too much.
How about....
"I know that when I saw you last, it was pretty weird and uncomfortable.
Yes...we can talk later...or not!
For now....let's just have a good time."
After every uncomfortable situation, there can be a fresh start.
Cowboy up!
Put on your big girl (and sexy) panties!
Draw the line and move forward.
Get over yourself.
You're not all that...or are you really still in your own mind?
Your journey is your story....your life.
Will it be interesting and intriguing? Eventful? Fulfilling?
Will you be forever inquisitive about what you don't know?
Will you settle for the comfortable?
Will you be small minded and a coward?
Will you get out of your own way and stop making excuses?
Will you be bold and courageous like Nelson Mandela? Helen Keller? Thomas Edison? Abraham Lincoln? Richard Branson? Henry Ford? Princess Diana? Yourself? (After all, you moved away from home - the ultimate comfort zone - some time ago.)
Will you continue to search for your truth? Or will you stand in someone else's truth and take it on as your own?
Or is your life really boring and f****** stupid?
http://schmittforbrains.blogspot.com/2012/11/so-i-was-thinking-that-my-new-theory-is.html
(Hope you don't mind, G. You had some good stuff!)
It's your life.
No judgments.
Every day is a new day....opportunities to freshen up...to start something new....or not.
Hello.
Here's wishing you a happy, prosperous and fulfilled 2013!
